Phase out of Commercial BPD-400 Model
The commercial power direct vent model BPD-400 is being phased out and will not be included in the 2008 distributor price book. The Cyclone Xi BTH 400 is replacing the BPD-400. The Cyclone Xi offers power irect venting, 95% efficiency, and a long list of impressive features.

T&S is pleased to now offer the new low-flow equip 5SV-C spray valve with immediate availability complimenting the existing EPAct 2005 compliant 5SV. The 5SV-C has a flow rate of no more than 1.2 GPM at 60 psi and features a powerful wide spray pattern with an integrated bumper and complies with both EPAct 2005 as well as ASTM F2324 performance standards.

Two new grinder pumps will be available from Zoeller.

The 842 grinder pump will have a maximum flow of about 35 GPM and a shut-off head around 129'.

2" NPT 71 Series Grinder Pump. This grinder features a smaller footprint and will fit in a smaller diameter basin.

A.O. Smith has held pricing since September, 2006, despite additional cost increases. As a result of higher costs in petroleum based raw materials, components, and commodity metals, a 3% to 7% price increase will be implemented January 1, 2008. All job and proof-of-performance quotes will expire December 31, 2007. To protect current pride levels, all orders must be placed for immediate shipment no later than December 31, 2007.

Note - Page 16 of Price Book Q (May 2007) currently states that the model TM800 has 1-1/4" inlets. It should state that the inlets are 1". If you received your price book after August 1, 2007, it should be correct. If not you may need to note the change in your book. Please check your price book and make the correction if necessary.

Field Notice - Heat Trap Nipples
In an effort to supply our customers with the best water heaters in the industry, we will begin manufacturing all of our residential gas and electric water heaters with factory installed heat trap nipples. This change will eliminate any misunderstanding about which models incorporate this feature as well as provide improved energy efficiency of models not currently equipped with heat traps. During the transition process we will appreciate your patience, as the conversion will require a few months to implement.
