Leonard Temperature Controls - SANIGUARD - Leonard has teamed up with several other manufactures (Component Hardware Group, Sloan, McGuire, etc) to form the Saniguard® Alliance. This is a group of manufactures that are working jointly to promote Saniguard® Antimicrobial coating. Saniguard® is an inorganic material (silver ion technology) which inhibits the growth of microorganism such as bacteria, mold and fungi. This is either mixed with plastic resins for extruding and injection molding or applied as a powder coating to metal surfaces (we will use this version). Leonard will be offering Saniguard® as an OPTION on all of our shower valves. The antimicrobial coating will be applied to the handles only of the shower valves, as this is the main touch point of that valve that would likely have the most exposure to bacteria. To request this option for our customers, use the Suffix “SG” for Saniguard® and use a $50 List Adder. Attached you will find a one page Sales Sheet and a Whitepaper (which will be published in “Plumbing Engineer”), and please use these to promote Saniguard® with your engineers.

ASSE 1071 Standard for Emergency Mixing Valves

Leonard Temperature Controls - Until recently, there has never been an ASSE code for emergency mixing valves. Leonard and other manufactures have designed their valves to meet the corresponding emergency equipment performance requirements as stated in ANSI Z358.1 (2004). That is all going to change immediately, now that ASSE finally released a code to clearly dictate the requirements for Emergency Mixing Valves…..ASSE 1071. Leonard is very pleased to announce that it is approved for the ASSE 1071 Standard. Attached are the approvals for the TA-300, TA-350, TM-500A, TM-600 TM-800, and TM-850. Please note that all of the submitted have been updated on the website and all of these valves will now be shipped out with ASSE 1071 seal.

California Assembly Bill 1953 (AB1953)

T&S Brass new MV Washdown Stations

T&S is pleased to announce the immediate availability of our new MV washdown stations. These two new models are designed to blend hot and cold water in any desired proportion. The MV-0771-12N-BV has been engineered to include ball valves instead of globe valves and non-corrosive stainless steel handles and nuts. The MV-0771-12N-BVT expands on the BV model by adding a temperature gauge for accurate temperature readings at the outlet. Both units include a stainless steel hose rack for simplified access to the hose. These new products allow for easier shutoff while maintaining the traditional MV-0771-12C design.

Zoeller now offers 24 x 24 Pre-assembled sewage packages. The expanded 912 series offering includes either a Zoeller 211, 264 or 266 series pump, and has a 41 gallon capacity, which exceeds that of an 18 x 30 basin.

T&S Brass New Addition to the I-Reel Product Line

Effective immediately, T&S is pleased to announce the addition of a heavy-duty high pressure hose reel to our product line. The GSA-3H50-PN is very robust and ideal for the most demanding applications such as pressure washing. This basic reel without hose can be used for air, water, grease or hydraulic oil purposes. The reel’s base and guide arms are formed from high-grade steel and are engineered with structural forms and gussets to yield the greatest amount of strength. The 7” wide L-shaped base with groove reinforcement ensures stable support.
